Selection Criteria
The Scientific Commission will evaluate submissions according to the following criteria:
– Thematic relevance of the presentation, which must be related to one of the thematic axes proposed by the 2nd ICE.
– Textual coherence and cohesion in the development of the theme.
– Theoretical consistency, emphasizing the key references on which the approach to the theme is based on.
– Correct use of written language, as well as quotations and bibliography.
– Compliance with submission requirements and text formatting rules.
Obs.: The opinion of the Scientific Committee will be final and, as such, is not subject to challenge or review.
About the Papers
Content
The presentation must be related to the conference’s central theme – Curriculum to the people that educates – and must specify to which thematic axis it is linked (as requested in the registration form).
Structure of the Text (attached to the registration form)
a) Title;
b) Author;
c) Institution;
d) Abstract;
e) Keywords;
f) Justification;
g) Description of public involved;
h) Purpose;
i) Methodological Development;
j) Achieved or ongoing results (considering what was learned in the process);
l) Bibliography.
Text Formatting Rules
a) Maximum of five pages;
b) Margins: 2.5 cm for top and bottom and 3 cm for left and right;
c) Font style: Times New Roman or Arial, size 12 for both;
d) Space between lines: 1.5 cm;
e) Alignment: justified;
f) Page numbering: pages should be numbered at the top right margin;
g) Heading:
Title: all capital letters;
Author: last name, capital letters, bold and followed by comma, dash, acronym of institution, dash and e-mail address. Eg: PEREIRA, Antonio Pedro – UFSC – pedro@ufsc.br;
Co-authors: follow the same order;
h) Abstract: font size 10, below the heading, aligned to the right, 1000 keystrokes (including characters and spaces);
i) Keywords: keywords, concept or categories to which the text is related (max. three words) must be located below the abstract. Eg: Reading of the World; Citizen Education; Exercise of Citizenship from Childhood;
j) Writing Guidelines: the work must follow the standards established by the Brazilian National Standards Organization or international writing standard (for further information, access the website www.abnt.org.br);
k) Attach the DOC file to the on-line registration form.
Guidelines for Oral or Poster Presentation
a) Title;

Oral presentation: there will be three 15-minute oral presentations for each Thematic Panel, as selected and approved by the Organizing Committee.
Poster presentation: posters will be on display during the event in a place that will be defined by the Organizing Committee. It is the author’s responsibility to install, take care of and remove his/her poster. Each poster must be identified. Authors will be required to be present at the time established in the programme to answer any questions participants may have.
Poster Guidelines: posters must be 50 to 90 cm large and 80 to 120 cm high. The author should have in mind how his/her poster will be installed in the support provided by the Organizing Committee.
Oral presentation: projectors and computers will be available for all presentations. The Organizing Committee will inform the technical features of the equipment and programs that may be executed.

Osasco Department of Education, following the concepts of Paulo Freire, believes in and defends that sharing knowledge is one of the fundamental paths to social inclusion and to another possible world in the field of production of knowledge, inside and outside the university.
Therefore, through the 2nd International Conference on Education, the Department will encourage sharing the knowledge that will be produced in it, through Creative Commonslicenses. Among the various Creative Commons licenses, the Department chose “Attribution – Noncommercial – Share alike (CC BY-NC-SA 3.0)”, which authorizes the Department, Instituto Paulo Freire and any other person or institution to use all submitted works for educational purposes, among others, as long as: a) Mentions the author, b) Does not use for commercial purposes e c) Use the same license.

Certificates
The following certificates will be provided:
- participation (at least 75% presence). Professionals of Osasco Public School System will receive a certificate according to their presence in the event and their work hours.

Transportation and Accommodation
Each participant is responsible for his/her own travel and accommodation arrangements and expenses. The Organizing Committee may recommend hotels and restaurants in the region, as well as provide information on how to use public transportation to arrive at the venue. Note that there will be a food court at the venue.
