Cruz Prado, is Doctor in Education, currently runs the doctorate of third culture, in Education with emphasis on Pedagogical Mediation of the La Salle University, in Costa Rica, which has Latin-American level.

Doctor in Human Sciences and experienced on Education area, with emphasis on Economical and Political Fundaments of the Education acting mainly on the following themes: theory and conceptions of education, work and human formation, knowledge and technology, social class, social movements and education e public policies in professional education, technical and technological. He has guided approximately 100 dissertations and theses and also taken part in more than 200 examination boards and public contests regarding to the education area for the last 28 years. Author and co-author of more than 20 books and dozens of articles in national and international magazines.

Sociologist, with Political Science and Law specialized about themes of Brazilian Political History and Education. She was Director and senior researcher of the Centro de Estudos de Cultura Contemporânea – CEDEC- from 1977 to 1985.Currently is Professor of the Education Faculty of USP, where she teaches Sociology and provides courses of Theory of Democracy and Human Rights (hired in 1985). Pedagogical Director of the Program Ciência Hoje de Apoio à Educação( Science Today to Support Education), from the institute Ciência Hoje, a non profitable social organization linked to the Sociedade Brasileira para o Progresso da Ciência, responsible for projects of scientific publication. Currently he is professor of the University of the State of do Rio de Janeiro and Researcher of CNPq and the Prociência (UERJ/FAPERJ).He was President of the International Council for Philosophical Investigation with children (ICPIC), vice-coordinator of the GT of Philosophy of Education of the ANPED and Coordinator of GT “To Philosophise and teach to philosophise” from ANPOF. Psychologist at Harvard Medical School (Boston, USA) and Director of the Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood. Author of several books and articles about the effects of media and commercial marketing on children. She is also a ventriloquist, and is known internationally for her innovative work using puppets in child psychotherapy.

Professor of the University of São Paulo (USP). He initially taught in the Institute of Mathematics and statistics, and later, from 1984, in the Faculty of Education. Doctor in Philosophy of Education by the University of São Paulo (USP).Professor of the Program of Postgraduate (PPGE) in Education of the University Nove de Julho (Uninove). Member of the Staff of International councilours of the Institute Paulo Freire (IPF) and of the board of editorial polícy of the same institute. Author of work in History and Education.

Graduated in Administration by the Catholic University of Brasília, in 1988; specialized in the Foundation Getúlio Vargas in Organization, Systems and Methods;  Course of Extension Continued Formation in School Councils by the University of Brasília  and   Course of Planning and Education Management, technical cooperation MEC/UNESCO. He has worked in the Minister of the Education for 26 years. Coordinator of the National Program Strengthen of the School Councils, since its setting up in 2004. Currently, he also coordinates the National Program of training City Councilors of Education – Procouncil. Since 2005, he takes part in the quality of General Coordinator, lecturer and debater in more than 40 Meetings of Presence Formation presence done by the National Program of Strengthen of the School Councils all around the country. For 15 years he has been working with the theme of Communities of teaching and learning through life. He lived many years in Equador, Mexico, Nicarágua, United States and Argentina, working  as in the  academic world as with social organizations, governors and international organisms (UNICEF y UNESCO).From the World Forum of Education held in Dakar,in 2000, she coordinates the Latin American Pronouncing for Education for all. Since  2006 coordinates the Board of Latinamerican specialists in Alphabetize and Written Culture (GLEACE). She was Minister of de Education and Culture in Equador.

Public administrator by FGV-EAESP; sociologist, máster anddoctor in political science by FFLCH/USP. Adjunct Professor of the Department of Public Management of FGV-EAESP; He Works in for the City Hall of the City of São Paulo-PMSP, in the position of administration specialist, budget and public finances. He was chief ot the city offices in administration,social assistance, communication, public management and urban security of PMSP. He was secretary of the administration, adjunct secretary of communication and superintendent of the Institute of Previdence of the City of São Paulo. He was chief  and organizational consultor  of Imprensa Oficial do Estado and director of professional formation of Fundap – Fundação do Desenvolvimento Administrativo do Governo do Estado de São Paulo.
